Once again that time of year has rolled around for Oz-E-Rodders to have our annual get together at Harcourt over the same weekend as the Bendigo Swap Meet.

Festivities began on the Friday night with many club members arriving at Camp Swifty to sit down for a quiet beverage or 2 with some familiar faces and also some new faces that they have never met before, other than online.

A few members choose to go into town for the cruise night but this didn't end too well. Trying to find a Tow Truck big enough to fit 40 acres of 59 Cadillac can be a challenge but eventually all members found their way home... albeit a little later than originally planned.

Saturday morning came and everyone was up early to try and catch a bargain or 2 at the swap in Bendigo. Some got in early to beat the heat while others stayed on until the gates almost shut them in.

Saturday evening we had the pleasure of being treated to a fantastic BBQ held by the Swift Family. A huge thanks must got o those who donated their time in helping out with the BBQ, namely rxford, Irene who did a stellar job as well as Swifty and Bubby and Corey for manning the tongs.

The BBQ was followed with some loud music from the PA system and then shortly after a DVD on the big screen in the Marquee accompanied by the standard Harcourt "Technical Difficulties", the gennie ran out of gas...

Saturday night we were also treated to a spectacular lightning show which was also accompanied by a lot of rain. A lot of Oz-E-Rodders woke up as Sog-E-Rodders on Sunday morning for the now traditional Bacon & Egg Breakfast.

Some members headed off home while a few of us drove into Heathcote for the Nostalgia Drag Racing series.

Once again a top effort to all the Interstate Rodders from NSW, South Australia and Tassie for making it to the event.

Thanks must also go to the Swift family for the use of their property to house 30 odd Hot Rodders for a few days of fun times.
